We named it after our dog.

Gypsy—our real-life husky, and the heart of this company—is the most laid-back, lovable, “say hi to everyone” dog you’ll ever meet. She’s all about good vibes, outdoor adventures, and spreading love wherever she goes. Basically, she is the brand.

We also knew from the start that we wanted to support animal shelters with every pair sold—and naming the company after Gypsy made that mission personal. Huskies, like Gypsy, are one of the most commonly abandoned dog breeds. And honestly, that breaks our hearts—because they’re also one of the most affectionate, loyal, and goofy breeds around.

(Okay, yes—we’re a little biased. But we’re also right.)

From day one, Gypsy Footwear has donated to animal shelters, supported rescue causes, and raised awareness for the pups who deserve more love. Every pair you buy helps us do more of that.
